Motor finance provider Finance For You builds €100 million loan portfolio
• Killarney-headquartered lender has advanced more than €200 million to over 16,000 customers through 650-plus motor dealers nationwide
Finance For You (FFY), the Irish motor finance provider headquartered in Killarney, has grown its loan book past €100 million for the first time.
The company has now advanced more than €200 million in hire purchase finance to over 16,000 customers across Ireland. It works with more than 650 motor dealers and a number of established broker partners, while its 26-strong team is based predominantly at its Killarney headquarters.
The milestone follows the €160 million institutional funding facility the company agreed with international banking partners, providing a strong foundation for its continued expansion.
Finance For You provides hire purchase car finance through dealers and brokers, including for customers who may find it harder to access finance from mainstream lenders. Alongside its lending growth, the company has built in-house teams across underwriting, risk, compliance, finance, collections and customer service, and has invested in the technology and controls needed to grow responsibly.
The business wrote 22 loans worth a combined €180,000 in its first year of trading. It has grown steadily since, through the pandemic, rising interest rates and sustained cost-of-living pressures.
