Media Strategy: This is what a dedicated campaign looks like
When it comes to securing major titles and standing out to selection panels for awards like the Motorsport Ireland Billy Coleman Young Driver of the Year, speed on the stages is only half the battle.
Having a structured, professional, and targeted media campaign behind a driver is what turns local rally wins into national coverage, sponsor value, and industry recognition.
Oran England’s 2026 title-winning campaign serves as a textbook example of how a coordinated PR strategy delivers across every media level.
Comprehensive Multi-Platform Exposure
Throughout 2026, Kerry Motorsport News managed dedicated PR and media engagement for Oran England, taking his story far beyond standard press releases.
The campaign targeted hyper-local, regional, and national outlets to ensure maximum visibility for both driver and commercial partners at every round.
Hyper-Local Print & Broadcast: England received consistent print feature coverage in his home county newspaper, The Anglo-Celt, alongside regular broadcast updates and interviews on local radio station Northern Sound.
Commercial Sponsor Exposure: With main sponsor Lough Owel Motors based in Mullingar, the media strategy secured targeted coverage in local titles including the Westmeath Examiner and Westmeath Independent. This delivered direct commercial return for the local Peugeot dealership from the season launch right through the year.
Regional & Motorsport Coverage: Leveraging local links across Tipperary and Kerry, regional print and digital outlets picked up regular updates, creating a strong national footprint.
This level of sustained, multi-outlet exposure provides tangible proof of commercial value to sponsors while presenting a polished, complete media portfolio heading into the Billy Coleman Award interviews in mid-November.
Kerry Motorsport News proud to support Oran England’s title-winning 2026 season
It was a pleasure working alongside Oran England and his team throughout 2026. Kerry Motorsport News was there every step of the way, providing dedicated PR and media engagement from the early-season launch at Lough Owel Motors in Mullingar right through to the season finale in Clonmel.
Season targets were well met with a Motorsport Ireland National Class 2 title win and a prestigious Billy Coleman Award nomination secured. In fact, initial expectations were exceeded when Oran clinched an RC4 class victory on his maiden British Rally Championship outing. While the Stellantis Cup slipped through his fingers at the final hurdle by a single point, congratulations go to Danny Brady on taking the title after an incredible season-long battle.
