Oran England ready for Harvest Rally and multiple championship showdowns

Cavan driver Oran England and co-driver Darragh Mullen will return to action on Saturday, October 10, for the Donegal Harvest Stages Rally, maintaining their lead in both the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup and the National Rally Championship Class 2 standings.
The Peugeot Ireland-backed crew experienced the full spectrum of rallying emotions during their debut at British and European Championship level at Rali Ceredigion in Wales last month.

After securing a class victory across the opening two days in their Tom Gahan Motorsport-prepared Peugeot 208 Rally4, slippery tarmac conditions on Sunday morning resulted in an off-road excursion and an impact with a tree while leading.

The incident forced England to miss the subsequent Wexford double-header due to minor injuries and repair delays, threatening his dual title campaigns.

However, a rapid turnaround has ensured England’s season remains firmly on track as he prepares to make his debut on the iconic Donegal stages.

“It was a massive setback in Wales after such a high, but you have to pick yourself up and move forward,” said England, who was named the first Motorsport Ireland Billy Coleman Award nominee for 2026 in July. “This is my first time taking on the Donegal stages, and it is easily one of the biggest national rallies of the year. I am focused on bouncing back, getting straight back to work, and putting in a strong performance.”
England and his Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy co-driver Darragh Mullen currently lead the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup on 75 points, holding a narrow two-point margin over chief rival Danny Brady (73 points).

Brady is also mounting a rapid repair effort following a similar incident in Wexford. In the National Rally Championship Class 2 standings, England and Mullen lead on 46 points.
The rally is also the final round of the Sligo Pallets Border Rally Championship where England and Mullen are odds on to secure a class win and a chance too to move into an overall championship position.

The Donegal Harvest Stages Rally, based out of Burt, features 104 competitive kilometres spread over nine stages across the Burt, Rooskey, and Dooish areas.
