Donegal Harvest Rally: Kerry Competitors Head North

The Donegal Harvest Rally plays host to the penultimate round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship this weekend, with a strong contingency of Kerry co-drivers and competitors making the long journey north.

Heading the Killarney and District Motor Club representation are Circuit of Ireland winners David Kelly and Shane Buckley. Running as fourth seeds in their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, the Donegal-Kerry pairing are aiming to secure their second national victory of the year.

In the modified section, Ger Conway lines up as third seed alongside Monaghan’s Gary McPhillips in a Ford Escort, reuniting for the first time since the Monaghan Rally in August. In Class 2A, Niall Myers carries strong momentum into the weekend as second seed alongside Oisin McShane in their Peugeot 208 R2.

Tim Enright and Stephen Buckley form the sole all-Kerry crew on the entry list, tackling the Donegal lanes in their Class 13 Ford Escort Mk2.

Kerry Motorsport News supported competitors are also well represented across the field. Oran England, with Darragh Mullen navigating, enters as second seed in the competitive Rally4 class in a Peugeot 208. In Class 2A, KMN-supported co-driver Daniel Seaman joins Limerick’s Anthony Dineen in a Ford Fiesta R2.
