Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy member Aoife Raftery is to contest two different rallies in Italy over the next two weekends.
The 21-year-old from Craughwell in County Galway has put together a deal to compete in a gravel and a tarmac rally over the course of the next two weeks.

Her first event is Rallye Delle Marche, a one-day gravel rally which takes place in the commune of Cingoli, about 100kms inland from the port city of Anacona next Sunday.
Her second rally will be the all- asphalt Rally-2-Laghi-Rally-dell-Ossola, based in the town of Baveno, Piedmont, on the west shore of Lago Maggiore, and about 550km north of Anacona.
This event is scheduled for Sunday, November 20.
“I have been working very hard with the Academy, I am really looking forward to it, it is going to be unbelievable,” she said. “We will get a test, two recces and two rallies, there will be a lot to take in and a lot to learn but it is going to be class.”
She has secured a Peugeot 208 RC4 for the two events through Italian rally driver Tamara Molinaro’s G-Carsport Team.

Geraldine McBride will co-drive on both events.
