Irish Interests Dominate ERC Fan Awards Nominations
Irish drivers and co-drivers feature heavily across the 2026 FIA European Rally Championship Fan Awards, prompting a call for Irish fans to cast their votes on FIAERC.com.
Every category revealed so far includes an Irish link, highlighting the country’s strong presence on the European stage this season. Kerry interest is represented by co-driver Noel O’Sullivan, who partnered Kris Meeke to a dominant debut victory on Rali Ceredigion in Wales.
Meeke and O’Sullivan are nominated for Drive of the Year following their 38.6-second victory over newly crowned ERC champion Teemu Suninen in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy driver Casey Jay Coleman (23) is shortlisted for Most Improved Driver of the Year following an impressive ERC3 title contention campaign.
The Rookie of the Year category features two Irish drivers. Twenty-year-old Kalum Graffin earned a nomination after securing two ERC3 podium finishes in the Fiesta Rally3 Trophy. Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy driver Casey Jay Coleman (23) also made the shortlist following an impressive ERC3 title contention campaign.
Philip Allen represents Northern Ireland in the Livery of the Year category, nominated for the metallic design on his NI Auto Assist-backed Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
Voting for Rookie of the Year opened today, September 30, at FIAERC.com. The final category, ERC Stage-end Quote of the Year, opens for voting on Friday, October 2. All award winners will be announced at the end-of-season prize-giving ceremony in Portugal next month.
