Rising rally co-driver Daniel Seaman gains vital experience with Galway rally outing
Bandon-based rally co-driver Daniel Seaman added more national experience to his CV last weekend, tackling the Bluebird Care Galway Summer Rally alongside Limerick driver Anthony Dineen.
Competing in a Ford Fiesta R2 for the first time, the newly formed pairing completed the seven stages around Ballinasloe to finish sixth in highly competitive Class 2A.
The run gave Seaman essential seat time in R2 machinery while adapting to a new driver on the challenging Galway roads. Balancing his motorsport commitments with studies in Motor Industry Management at MTU Cork and work in his family’s business Dan Seaman Motors in Cork City, the Bandon man’s debut full season of rallying shows no sign of slowing down.
“It was a very productive day out with Anthony,” Seaman said after the event. “Working with a new driver in a different car brings a fresh set of notes to adapt to, but Anthony drove a smart, solid rally and we clicked right away.”
The trouble-free run sees Seaman add another reliable finish to his co-driving resume as he continues to build experience across a range of car classes, drivers, and events.
