The event format will feature 10 selectives each day. Competitors should note a change to the route layout this year, as the rough Caragh 1 and 2 selectives will not be included. In their place, the club has introduced two brand-new selectives: one situated at the Michael F. Quirke and Sons quarry, and another covering a 2.7km farm lane. Both additions are located in close proximity to the event headquarters.
As in previous years, mechanical scrutiny, sign-on, parc fermé, and the overnight camping facilities will all be based at the Woodlands Equestrian Centre in Faha.
While the Killarney event is not a counting round of the national championship this season, organizers are aiming to deliver a highly social and competitive weekend. A club get-together is scheduled for Saturday evening across the road at the Faha Court Bar, offering crews, marshals, and fans a chance to enjoy refreshments and discuss the day’s action.
KDMC extends a warm welcome to all competitors traveling to Killarney this July, with further event details and regulations to be published in the coming days.
