Reminder Killarney and District Motor Club to host Endurance Trial info night

Killarney and District Motor Club will host an information evening dedicated to endurance trials this Saturday, April 18.

The event takes place at the Faha Court Bar and Courtyard (V93 AY82) starting at 7:30pm. The night is designed for anyone curious about the sport, ranging from absolute beginners to experienced members looking to get involved in the club’s upcoming events.

Organised by Mike O’Shea, the session will provide a practical introduction to the discipline. Attendees can expect a comprehensive breakdown of car requirements and the types of machinery needed to compete. The evening will also cover the essential paperwork and licensing required by Motorsport Ireland, as well as an introduction to navigating road books.

Expert competitors and seasoned officials will be on hand to share advice and stories from the road. The club is also encouraging anyone interested in volunteering for the Kerry Motor Club endurance event scheduled for September to attend, as it offers a perfect opportunity to learn the logistical side of the sport.

Whether you are looking to sit in the driving seat, navigate, or help out behind the scenes, the night promises plenty of information and a chance to meet fellow enthusiasts. The event is open to everyone and admission is free. For further details, members can contact the club directly or simply show up on the night.
