The Opel Vauxhall Club Ireland is returning to Killarney for its “Run Kerry & Manta-Fest 2026.” The event was originally planned for May 10th but will now take place on Sunday, May 17th.
The run is expected to feature over 100 classic vehicles, including Opel, Vauxhall, and Bedford models. Last year’s event was based in Ballymac and travelled through West Kerry, featuring a diverse range of cars including a Holden and a Pontiac.
This year, the route moves to Killarney and will take in several classic rally stages. Participants will travel through Molls Gap, Ballaghbeama, and Caragh Lake.
The event headquarters is the Killarney Oaks Hotel on the Muckross Road (V93 D593). Sign-on begins at 9:00am on the morning of May 17th, with the cars scheduled to depart at 11:30am.
