Devine and O’Sullivan join JC Raceteknik for ERC comeback

Double Irish Tarmac champion Callum Devine and Killarney co-driver Noel O’Sullivan are returning to the FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) for 2026. The pair have signed with the top-tier Swedish team JC Raceteknik for an asphalt-focused campaign.

Starting with this week’s Andalusia Rally – Sierra Morena in Spain, the Irish duo will compete in a Škoda-powered squad alongside Swedish teammates Adam Grahn and Isak Reiersen. O’Sullivan remains the first Killarney-based co-driver to reach this level of the sport on a full-season basis.

Devine is no stranger to the European stage. He finished third on his Rally Hungary debut in 2019 and was an ever-present in the championship throughout 2020 and 2021 before shifting his focus to the Irish Tarmac title.

Callum Devine said:

“I’m really looking forward to coming back to the ERC. It’s always great for a driver to compete against Europe’s best on some iconic events. We’ve had great success back home in Ireland over the past few seasons, winning two Irish Tarmac Rally Championships, and we feel now is the right time to come back and take on some ERC events. Starting with Rally Sierra Morena, I’m delighted to be joining JC Raceteknik. I know they are a very professional team with a wealth of experience, and I’m looking forward to working closely with them.”

JC Raceteknik Team Principal Joel Christoffersson said:

“It’s fantastic to welcome Callum and Noel to the team. We’ve had some brilliant rally drivers in our line-ups in recent years, but as we are based in Scandinavia, many have much more gravel experience than Tarmac, just like Iask and Adam this year. Callum is the opposite, and his successes from the ITRC speak for themselves. Our intention is to be competing at the front straight away with him and Noel.”

Following their Spanish outing, Devine and O’Sullivan will return to local soil. They have placed an entry for the Rally of the Lakes in May, round four of the NAPA Autoparts Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, where they are chasing an unprecedented fifth win in a row.
