Renault to be auctioned at the Killarney show on Sunday for Matter Foundation

Well-known local property auctioneer Billy Hennigan will turn his hand to car sales on Sunday.

The Killarney Valley Vintage and Classic Club is hosting its annual Classic and Vintage car show at Killarney Racecourse on Sunday.

A supporter of the club has donated a Renault Megane Cabriolet and Billy will auction the car with a 100% of funds raised going to the Mater Hospital foundation.

“Along with the usual cars, jeeps and motorbikes that are 20 years and older there is going to be the auction of the Renault,” said club secretary Richard O’Donoghue. “Don’t forget any Landrover Defenders of any age on the day will be entered to win a stay in Loch Lein House and €100 voucher for Stryker Landrovers.”

The club thanked Brian Glover of BG Motors who prepared the car for NCT ahead of the auction.

Gates open for show cars at 10am and to the public from 11am.
