Two Kerry competitors will have clocked up more than 30,000 km between them to get home in time for the West Cork Rally.

Billy McCarthy has travelled from Brisbane, Australia for the weekend – a distance of 16,923km.

Billy will steer a Nissan Micra on the West Cork Rally and hopes to return home again for the Circuit of Kerry and the Rally of the Lakes.

Amy Burke has flown home from Perth in Western Australia, a slightly (!) shorter distance of 15,076kms.

She will drive a Ford Fiesta Mk1.
