What do Americans think of Irish rallying? Video
Cast your mind back to the Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Rally in early December.
Out of the 150 crews that started the event, one, in particular, were on a voyage of discovery and they produced this YouTube video as a reminder of why we all love Irish rallying but also as an advertisement to motorsport fans on the other side of the Atlantic.
Briton Kyle Tilley runs ERA Motorsport in Indiana.
He is better known as a NASCAR and an FIA Endurance racer.
The Killarney rally was his second-ever tarmac event.
His co-driver, Galwegian Martin Brady, needs no introduction but he is also now an employee of ERA.
It was a match made in heaven, the Irish co-driver, who grew up watching his heroes on Moll’s Gap and his rookie driver on his first visit to Ireland…
