Two Kerry-based firemen have teamed up to contest Saturday’s Rentokil-Initial Killarney Historic Rally.
Kerry Motor Club chairman PJ O’Dowd is a fireman at Tralee Fire Station and he will drive his Talbot Sunbeam on the six-stage event.
His co-driver is Deany Greaney who is a fireman attached to the Castleisland station.

The pair last worked together on the Wexford Rally in October. They were deprived of a class podium following a puncture and they eventually finished fourth in the 160cc class.
On the recent Banna Beach Resort Kerry Winter Rally, PJ was forced to withdraw after head gasket failure.
Denny finished seventh in his class, on the same event, alongside Chris Browne in a Toyota Corolla.
The pair are seeded 137 for this weekend’s event.
