Killarney stalwarts to be remembered with special stickers at the Rentokil Initial Killarney Historic Rally
Much missed Killarney and District Motor Club members, Maurice Nagle, Johnny Hickey and Mike Falvey are to be remembered in special ways this weekend.
The Killarney Historic Rally was the brainchild of long-serving club member Maurice Nagle. The popular Aghadoe man was the first Clerk of the Course for the rally back in 1996.
Unfortunately, he passed away just after the running of the 2018 rally.
He will be remembered this weekend with a special sticker that will be displayed on rally cars throughout the event.

Johnny Hickey, one of the club’s most dedicated workers, will also be remembered in a similar fashion. Johnny passed away in April and his presence, like Maurice’s, was sorely missed in the run-up to the event.
The stickers were organised by Johnny’s friends, Rob Duggan, Colin O’Donoghue and Barry Meade.

Mike Falvey is another club member who was badly missed after he passed away in May this year. He was the team leader on stage set up duties and that role has been filled by his brother Donal.
The number one slot on the entry list has been left blank in honour of both Johnny and Mike.
