Hanafin for Porsche shootout
Lorcan Hanafin has been selected to represent Porsche Motorsport GB in the Porsche Motorsport Junior shootout in Spain at the end of this month.
He will face junior drivers from Porsche Carrera Cup Championships from around the world.
The global Porsche Junior Shootout will be utilising the new 992 Cup Car for the first time this year ahead of its race introduction in 2022.
The Porsche Shootout has opened doors for many young drivers and paved the way for their first steps as professional drivers. Hanafin earned his nomination for finishing second in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
“The Shootout opportunity continues to play a crucial role in the development of the best emerging talent and is seen as the most proven pathway for talented drivers to progress to the highest level abroad,” said a Porsche spokesperson.
The shootout will start early on the morning of November 23 and ends in the late afternoon November 25.
