Coyne’s back-to-back BSB weekends

Kevin Coyne is at Silverstone this weekend, just days after racing at Snetterton last weekend.

Last weekend’s 11th round of the British Superbike Championship was the Farranfore racers first outing since Brands Hatch in July. A high-speed crash at the Kent track resulted in a shoulder injury for Coyne and he was forced to miss the following three rounds.

His appearance at the Lincolnshire track was hampered by a qualifying incident – he was shunted off the track by another rider – and had to start from the back of the grid.

“Excellent weekend. From 38th [on the grid] to 27th on our first race back after injury. Apart from the qualifying incident through no fault of Kevin’s. We’re very happy to have a steady weekend. Next up Silverstone on Friday. Thanks to all our sponsors who make this happen,” said a post on his official social media channels.
