Just one Kerry competitor has entered Saturday’s Dogleap Rally at the Shackleton Complex in County Derry.
John McCarthy is on co-driving duty for his usual driver, John Devlin, in their Ford Escort.
The event will consist of six special stages with a mileage of not more than 60kms and will run entirely within the complex – spectators are not permitted.

The rally is round two of the McGrady Insurance Northern Ireland Rally Championship.
Killarney and District Motor Club member and Millstreet resident, Liam Moynihan is also contesting the event alongside Stephen Wright in his Ford Fiesta R5.
