Several Kerry riders are making the long trip to County Down this weekend for the second round of the Ulster Superbike Championship.

Several Kerry riders are making the long trip to Bishopscourt in County Down this weekend for the second round of the Ulster Superbike Championship.

The local charge is being led by Emmet O’Grady who contested round one last weekend. He finished eight and tenth in his two races at Kirkistown on Saturday. He left County Down holding seventh place in the championship standings.

Darragh Crean took a second and a third in his two Production Twins races on Saturday and will return north again this weekend. He is second in his class championship standings.

Rob O’Connell skipped the opening round but is expected to venture north this weekend to contest to Supersport Cup class.

They will be joined by sidecar racer Siobhan Ardner who is on passenger duty for Fergie Woodlock.
