Breen leads Rallye Sanremo overnight – seven stages Sunday from 7.31am Irish Time
Craig Breen leads Rallye Sanremo after this evening’s short ‘spectator’ stage.
He was one second quicker than his Hyundai i20 NG R5 team-mate Andrea Crugnola over the 2.00km test.
The Bajardo stage is usually run for the benefit of fans but they are not allowed attend due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Italy.
But following Italian Rally Championship rules – Breen is registered – the Waterford driver took maximum points as the rally’s opening stage also doubles as the event’s PowerStage.
Sunday’s action starts at 7.31 Irish time, with the first run over the 12km San Bartolomeo stage, followed by Colle d’Oggia at 7.52 am Irish time and Vignal at 8.25am Irish time.

The same loop is repeated 11.52 am, 12.13 am and 12.46.
The Grand Finale is the 20km Cesio-Carpasio test which starts at 4.20 pm Irish time
All of the action is live on several social media channels and Kerry Motorsport News recommends the Italian Rally-Sparco Championship’s Facebook page. (https://www.facebook.com/acisportofficial).
The same coverage will be broadcast via https://rallyesanremo.com too but there were issues with streaming on this site during Saturday’s opener.
