How to follow Rally Sanremo live this weekend
Rallye Sanremo will be broadcast live on several Italian social media channels this weekend.
The 68th running of this legendary event will get underway on Saturday morning.
The first action of the weekend is shakedown, on the San Romolo stage, between 8.00 am and 11.30 am Irish time.
The rally proper gets underway with a short SuperSpecial (or the points scoring power stage in Italian Rally-Sparco Championship terms) at 4.00pm Irish time.
After the two-kilometer televised Bajardo stage the crews will then return to the Sanremo Service Park for the overnight halt.
It will be possible to watch the opening stage, live, on several social media channels.
Following last month’s Rally il Ciocco e Valle del Serchio, Kerry Motorsport News recommends the Italian Rally-Sparco Championship’s Facebook page.
but the same coverage will be broadcast via https://rallyesanremo.com too.
Sky Italy are covering the rally live too – on channel 228 or 515 on the Italian Sky platform – but Kerry Motorsport News is not sure if that channel will work in this part of the world?
Better to know it is there, rather than looking for it and if it works let us know!
“Thanks to such vast media coverage, the Rallye Sanremo will be able to enter all the homes of fans, avoiding gatherings on special stages and in the service park, a situation that could lead to the cancellation of the special stages or the suspension of the race,” said an event spokesperson.
The bulk of the rally action takes place on Sunday with the same channels and social platforms offering a full day’s action online.
Sunday’s action starts at 7.31 Irish time, with the first run over the 12km San Bartolomeo stage, followed by Colle d’Oggia at 7.52 am Irish time and Vignal at 8.25am Irish time.
The same loop is repeated 11.52 am, 12.13 am and 12.46.
The Grand Finale is the 20km Cesio-Carpasio test which starts at 4.20 pm Irish time.
Only €5.00 per month or €50 for a full year (12 months)
