As we look back on Craig Breen and Paul Nagle’s fourth place overall on Arctic Rally Finland here is some food for thought.

Keep in mind that, prior to last weekend, the last time the Irish crew contested a round of the World Rally Championship driving their Hyundai i20 World Rally Car was last September.
Since their second place on Rally Estonia, five months ago, and prior to last weekend there have been four events completed in the series – Turkey, Sardinia, Monza, and this year’s Monte Carlo Rally. Two of those events were on snow or partial snow. Breen and Nagle’s last (partial) snow rally was Sweden last February.
Teammates, Ott Tanak (who won Arctic Rally Finland) and Thierry Neuville (who was third over the weekend) each contested the Otepää Winter Rally in Estonia two weeks ago. They drove their Hyundai i20 Coupe World Rally Cars to first and second on that snow-covered national event.
The World Rally Championship is now being led by Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen.

The Toyota Yaris WRC crew have contested every WRC event listed above.
Their last two results? Second in Arctic Rally Finland and fourth in Monte Carlo…
Breen and Nagle’s last two results: fourth in Arctic Rally Finland and second in Estonia…

The driver with the most seat time leads the series, their form book, based on their last two outings…identical!
