BRITCAR ENDURANCE RACING
Lorcan Hanafin made a surprise appearance at last weekend’s Britcar Endurance race at Silverstone.

Hanafin is chasing Porsche Carrera Cup GB honours with two rounds left to run. He joined Roscrea-based Nicole Drought where they finished 16th and tenth in their two-hour-long races driving the CJJ Motorsport with Valluga Porsche 718 Cayman GT4.
“A tough weekend for us all round,” Drought told Kerry Motorsport News, “I had a great start in the first race but unfortunately I suffered damage after contact from another driver which resulted in an extra pit stop. In the second race we finished fifth in class.-We got close to a podium but unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be! Focusing on the next one!”

Hanafin’s next Carrera Cup race is scheduled for October 25 at Snetterton.
