Kerry Motorsport News gets the automotive PR results like no other media firm
This is a story of a how a simple, but effective PR campaign reaped rewards for every party involved and the common denominator in the whole process was Kerry Motorsport News.
Have a read of this and see how this could benefit your automotive business.
Earlier this month Kerry Motorsport News attended the King of Kirkistown motorcycle racing meeting in County Down.
There were several Kerry riders in action and they have all been mentioned is several news stories produced by us and shared international across several platforms.
One rider, John Griffin had the use of a van from Ahern’s Opel dealership in Castleisland.
It was their way of supporting rising Kerry motorcycle racing talent.
Kerry Motorsport News recognised the news value of a local garage helping a local sports star and placed the following feature in the Killarney Advertiser (it was also published on-line at a later date).
Ahern’s Garage were so impressed with the coverage that they increased their sponsorship deal with Griffin and took advertising space in the Killarney Advertiser.
All three parties involved got something out of the deal, Griffin secured extra sponsorship, Ahern’s benefited from the exposure and the Killarney Advertiser secured an advertising deal.
Both Aherns and Griffin were featured in both the Killarney Advertiser and on the website a second time as the sponsorship deal (and photograph) appeared as a news story and the results of this weekend’s races will also feature in future issues.
Everyone involved got something out of the deal – and right in the middle of it all was Kerry Motorsport News.

Other projects we are involved in include Kevin Cyone’s British motorcycle campaign and as well as successfully placing his story in multiple local news outlets, we secured placement in Road Racing Ireland, the country’s most influential motorcycle racing magazine.
Recently we have worked with an internationally renowned rally co-driver from the North West of the country and two well-known Kerry rally drivers as part of a bigger project that will launch nearer Christmas , a project that has its roots firmly in County Kerry.
We can’t say much more on this – it is not out project (Kerry Motorsport News has provided content) – but we can say it will be something special when all is revealed.
“Through my current roles and having worked with specialised titles in Ireland and the UK, I am well aware of the content that editors and local newspapers are looking for,” he said. “As a car enthusiast, I am also aware of the great things local garages and related industries are doing to promote their business. This is a way of marrying both of these concepts and ensuring that their message gets out to a wider audience, an audience that is already interested in what is going on in the local car scene. If garage owners tell us what is going on in their garage, we will tell everyone.”
