Killarney’s Anthony O’Connor appointed chairperson of NAPA Irish Tarmac Championship
Killarney and District Motor Club member Anthony O’Connor has been appointed interim chairperson of the NAPA Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.
O’Connor takes up the role ahead of round one of the 2027 championship, the Killarney Towers Hotel Killarney Historic Rally, an event he served as Clerk of the Course for on several occasions in the past.
He will hold the position until the Tarmac Rally Organisers Association (TROA), the owners and operators of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, holds its Annual General Meeting in the new year. O’Connor will also have the option to continue in the post following the AGM.
His first official duty in his new role takes place this weekend, where he will represent the ITRC at the championship’s annual awards night gala in Galway
