The 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed concluded on Sunday following four days of motorsport action that featured a strong contingent of Irish competitors and international stars.

Among the weekend’s competitive highlights, Tom Williams secured the Rally Shoot-Out victory on the Forest Rally Stage behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo GTi Rally2. The loose-surface arena also saw Kevin Stubbs take the Off-Road Arena Shoot-Out win in a KSR Mini, while Romain Dumas won the main Hillclimb Shoot-Out piloting the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E.

The event’s theme, ‘The Rivals – Epic Racing Duels’, was marked by a historic reunion of the original 1966 Le Mans-winning Ford GT Mk IIs, marking 60 years since the manufacturer’s famous clean sweep over Ferrari.

Reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris headlined the contemporary star track appearances alongside MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi. Norris drove a 1996 Liberty Walk S13 and his championship-winning McLaren MCL60, where he was joined by team principal Andrea Stella and Sir Jackie Stewart. Former F1 title winners Damon Hill and Gerhard Berger also led anniversary celebrations, with Hill returning to the cockpit of his 1996 championship-winning Williams FW18.

Seven current Formula 1 teams supported the event, running machinery on the hillclimb paddock and active track sessions, with young star Kimi Antonelli and regular grand prix drivers Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda among those completing runs.

Organisers also confirmed the dates for next year’s event, with the 2027 Festival of Speed scheduled to run from Thursday, July 15th to Sunday, July 18th.
