Cork ’20’ Rally to return to Classic Macroom Stages in 2026

Next year’s Cork 20 International Rally will return to the famous Macroom and Ballyvourney stages, just over the Kerry county bounds. Munster Car Club confirmed the plan this week as preparations begin for one of the longest-running events on the Irish calendar.
The 2026 edition will run over the classic roads that defined the rally for decades. Competitors will face Lough Allua, Fuhiry, Mullaghaglish, Kilnamartyra and Mushera – a full loop of the traditional Cork 20 tests.
The rally’s move back to these well-known stages is expected to attract strong local interest from Kerry crews and fans, given the short distance across the county bounds.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
