Ford M-Sport rally van on display on Killarney ahead of Rally Masters

A rare Ford M-Sport rally support van will be showcased in Killarney on September 27, giving local rally fans a chance to see the vehicle in person. The van, one of only six built, will be on display at the Applegreen service station on Muckross Road. This location will allow fans on their way to the Killarney Racecourse for Rally Masters to view the vehicle up close.

Schedule of Events: Ford M-Sport Van Display

Friday, September 26

  • Location: Applegreen Service Station (at the top of Ross Road, next to the Dromhall Hotel)
  • Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Saturday, September 27

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The van will then be moved to the Rally Masters event.

The van is a modified Ford Transit Custom that produces 347 bhp and 512 Nm of torque. Its bespoke hybrid 2.0-litre turbo engine uses direct injection with Steinbauer Fuel Management. Power is delivered through a six-speed manual sequential gearbox and an active center differential.

The vehicle also features Bilstein front struts, Compbrake discs with six-piston calipers for improved stopping power, and a custom body kit. The wrap was applied by Wrapco, and the van has a two-seater cab.
