Kerry crews are set for action at Sunday’s Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally, which runs on Sunday, August 10.
The rally is round four of the Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship and the Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series.

This year’s event is based in Kanturk with over 70km of gravel stages ahead. Service will be at Kanturk Mart and HQ is at O’Callaghan’s Toyota.

Killarney and District Motor Club member Robert Cronin from Ballylickey will continue hos transition from circuit racing to rallying.
He and co-driver Paddy Heffernan from Cashel will line out in their Opel Corsa Rally 4.
Colin Neligan from Knocknagoshel pairs up with Bernard McSweeney from Ovens in a Ford Fiesta 1600.
Kerry is also well represented in the Junior 1000 class.
Frank Wharton from Firies and co-driver Denny Greaney from Castleisland will compete in a Toyota Aygo.
James Spillane from Killarney joins Maurice McElligott from Causeway in a Seat Mii.
Gneeveguilla has two crews entered: David Slattery Jr with Ger Somers in a Hyundai i10, and Aidan O’Leary with John Falvey from Killarney in another Aygo.
Donegal’s Sam Gorman will have Ballyhar’s Niall Myers on the notes in a Nissan Micra.
The rally gets underway early Sunday morning and will be a big test for all crews on the fast Cork gravel.
