Devine and O’Sullivan hint at more European Rally Championship appearances

Rally of the Lakes winners Callum Devine and Noel O’Sullivan have hinted at their desire to compete in more FIA European Rally Championship events next season, following a promising performance at Rali Ceredigion in Wales last weekend.
Devine, from Derry, and O’Sullivan, from Muckross, piloted a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, contested an ERC event for the first time since 2020 and 2015, respectively.
Despite a late poor tyre choice that dropped them from podium contention, the pair finished fifth overall.
The result has encouraged Devine and O’Sullivan to consider more European appearances in the future.
However, their immediate focus remains on clinching the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship (ITRC) title, where they are locked in a fierce battle with Keith Cronin and Mikie Galvin.
While the disappointment of their British Rally Championship hopes may linger, Cronin and Galvin are now determined to make a strong showing at the Cork ’20’ International Rally, the final round of the ITRC.
The event presents them with a crucial opportunity to extend their lead over Devine and O’Sullivan and secure the championship
