Coleman and Moore’s Italian job this weekend
Tipperary driver Casey Jay Coleman and his Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy co-driver Lorcan Moore have placed a surprise entry for this weekend’s Rally del Brunello in Italy.

It is Coleman’s second time doing the rally having finished fifth in the under 25 class last season with Adam Coffey on the notes.
The two-day ten-stage rally gets underway with two tests on Friday evening and will take place on gravel roads in the Tuscany wine region ahead of its Saturday evening conclusion.
“We are looking forward to the event. The stages are flowing and smooth , with alot of medium speed corners,” said Mayo man Moore
“Casey Jay did it last last year with Adam and it was a fantastic rally so we are going to use it to gain some more European experience. It’s quite different to the forest rallys at home.”

The Irish crew have hired a Peugeot 208 Rally4 from local rally preparation team Rally Sports Evolution.
