The new deal will bring the rally in to the heart of the town and the sponsor ship announcement is just one of many new innovations set to be introduced between now and the December 2 event.

“We are delighted to bring the rally into the heart of the town and be a central part of the Christmas in Killarney annual festival, “ said clerk of the course Anthony O’Connor.

“We welcome the O’Donoghue Ring Collection and the Towers Hotel as title sponsor. Well-known local driver has always been a supporter of club events and it is great to see his family business come in a s title sponsor for the iconic event.”

In another break from tradition, Moll’s Gap will not be used as a special stage for the rally. On-going road works on the approach to the stage could affect the time schedule of the rally.
