.A new classic car event will take place in Moyvane in June.
The Ger Kennelly Memorial Car Run is scheduled for June 11.
It will raise funds for Palliative Care.
“Ger was a valued man throughout the Moyvane community and along with many communities around North Kerry,” said organiser Daniel Houlihan.
“Ger was known for his iconic Ford Escort Mk2 and was a true car enthusiast. The event is for a great cause.”
Registration is at Moyvane Community Centre from 12 noon until 1pm on June 11. Following a road run in North Kerry the event will finish at Tomasin’s Bar in Lissleton where refreshments will be served.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
