Two drivers with strong Kerry connections had great results at last Sunday’s 4 Hours of Barcelona endurance race.
The opening round of the European Le Mans Series saw both Lorcan Hanifan and Michael Fassbender finish in the top seven
Hanafin shared the no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari with Martin Berry and Jon Lancaster and they finished third.
The qualified on pole position, however, Berry was given a drive-through for overtaking the no35 Ultimate Ligier before startline.

Michael Fassbender in the no93 Proton Competition Porsche was also making steady progress up the LMGTE field and was challenging for third place at the end of the opening hours.
He and teammates Martin Rump and Richard Lietz eventually finished seventh.
