Jonathan O’Shea is one those people that a motor club cannot be without.
Since joining Kerry Motor Club in 2006 he has held very role imaginable within the club’s ranks.

Starting out like most, as a marshal, by 2008 he was the chief marshal for both the Circuit of Kerry and the Kerry Winter Rally.
Not one to rest on his laurels, he took on the role of Deputy Stage Commander for The Rally of the Lakes and The Killarney Historic Rally in 2009 and 2010.
The following year he was deputy clerk of the course for the Circuit and Banna and since then has been either clerk or deputy clerk of the course for every Kerry Motor Club event.
Highlights include being the Clerk of the Course that invited Craig Breen and the factory Peugeot team to Kerry where they debuted the new 208 T16 on tarmac – a world first!
But this year marks a new departure for the Keel man.
He will make his co-driving debut on Sunday alongside his friend and neighbour Stephen O’Connor in a newly built Toyota Starlet.
Stphen is no stranger to KMC activities either. His pub, The Anvil Bar, in Keel, hosts the annual Moriarty’s Central Car Sales Kingdom of Kerry Rally Championship prizegiving and was a stop off point on the Déjà vu event last May.
The car was prepared locally by a group of KMC friends under the Team Shed banner. Other team shed members competing this weekend include PJ O’Dowd (Talbot Sunbeam) and Patrick Slattery (Subaru Impreza)/
