Top five Monte Carlo Rally rumours
Here are the top five, unsubstantiated, rumours, we heard while wandering around the service park and various regroup controls in Monte Carlo
1 Rallye Monte Carlo will return to the Gap region in 2024
2 This year will be the last year of Rallye Sardinia and will be replaced by a rally in Saudi Arabia next season
3 Craig Breen and James Fulton will contest the Portuguese Rally Championship, alongside their WRC commitments, in a Hyundai i20 Rally2.
4 An Irish driver will contest a snow rally, in possibly Norway, before Rally Sweden
5 Stars and Bars, which is closing down on January 27, will auction off its rare collection of Formula 1 and WRC memorabilia
*all rumoured – nothing confirmed but we won’t be too far off the pace!
