Darragh Murphy’s hopes of a podium finish in the St George Motorcycle Club’s Summer Night Series in Australia are over after he failed to start round two last weekend
The Sydney-based Mount collins rider was hoping to go one better than his runner’s form spot last season, but lady luck is not on his side.

He crashed out of his opening race of the season two weeks ago and took no further part in reaming two races of the meeting at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney.
He was hoping to make amends at the same venue last weekend, but he was unable to repair his Honda CBR 600 in time for Saturday’s three-race meeting.
He has now failed to score on six of the championship’s 15 races meaning a podium bid is all but impossible this season.
