
Dean McElligott, son of long serving club member Maurice will make his co-driving debut on the Kerry Winter Rally. He will co-drive for Neilus O’Carroll in a Ford Escort Mk3.
However, Neilus’ Escort does has an engine problem but that won’t prevent Dean from making his debut.
Neilus’ son Anthony, better known as a motorcycle racer will also make his debut driving a Honda Civic.
Meanwhile, Maurice is alongside Tom Relihan.
They join the Costello Family, dad Jason and daughter Megan compete in their Ford Escort while son/brother Mossie is out in a Honda Civic.
The O’Sullivan family from back west are also out in force for the second year in a row. Declan is at the wheel of his Volkswagen Golf and Alan drives a Honda Civic. Dean could make his debut alongside Declan if Plan A does not work out.
Brothers Ray and Gene Stack will share a Ford Escort on the day. Colm and Michael Browne will share a G3 version of the Escort
Mike Neiligan’s son Colin is also competing.
Killarney and District Motor Club won’t be out done, brothers Charlie and John will have their respective daughters, Charlene and Michelle in the passenger seats.
The O’Donoghues are making it a family affair too. Kevin is driving his BMW and son Colin, the very quick Escort driver is on co-driving duty for a family friend from Donegal
John Daly will have his father JohnJoe in the passenger seat.
