Junior 1000 drivers to graduate on Kerry Winter Rally
At least two Junior 1000 rally drivers with Kerry connections will graduate to closed-road events at the Banna Beach Resort Kerry Winter Rally.
The Junior 1000 championship runs alongside the Irish Forestry Rally championship and is open to 16-year-olds who are accompanied by an experienced co-driver who drives the rally car on road sections.
Kerry Motor Club member Mossie Costello will drive a Honda Civic at the November 30 event. It will be a family occasion as his father Jason and sister Megan are also entered in the rally.

Mossie finished second in the Junior 1000 championship this season in a Peugeot.
Jack Harris from Donegal will also make his main rally debut in Kerry after spending the year competing alongside Costello in the Junior series.
He is currently on the reserve list but if he gets a call in the next few days he will drive the Volkswagen UP he used in gravel events this year. His great-grandmother came from Ardfert and, as regular readers know, Kerry Motorsport News always champions the Kerry connection!
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
