Breen /Nagle fastest on first New Zealand Shakedown run

*Not all runs complete

Craig Breen and Paul Nagle were fastest over the first run on shakedown.

It took place at 9pm Irish time. Auckland is 12 hours ahead of Ireland so it was 9am down there.

The first stage, a super special on the streets of Auckland, takes place at 6am Irish time, on Thursday morning, although it will be 6pm there…it is going to be a confusing weekend… who is up for a few all-nighters?

“It is a beautiful place, a beautiful country, and the roads are made to drive rally cars fast,” said Breen. “I see Irish flags in there already.”

The Ford Puma crew set a time of 1m32.7 over the first run of the 3.54km test that Nagle described as “short and sweet.”

Second and third run is live as we post this – and the overall times are dropping – so the lads take fifth for now.
