Gearoid O’Regan heads to Sunday’s Garda Síochána Motor Club’s Germaine’s of Baltinglass Mini Stages Rally as joint leader of Class 3 in the Hugo Loonam Motors Midlands-East Rally Championship.
The County Offaly-based Ballyheuige man is in his first full season of rallying and this is the first time he has contested a championship.
He shares the top spot in the title race with Stephen Brennan.
After Sunday’s rally, the Honda Civic driver will also contest the Laois Rallysprint scheduled for the second weekend of October. The Stradbally event is the final round of the series.
