O’Carroll wins West Cork motorcycle hillclimb
Anthony O’Carroll won West Cork Motorcycle Club their annual Hillclimb at Twohig’s hill near Clonakilty.
The Kawasaki ZXR600 rider won the event outright and was also declared King of the Hill after the day’s racing.
The event was the last big closed-road, between-the-hedges motorbike event of the year.
O’Carroll faced big competition including from recently crowned 600cc Senior Support Road Racing Championship winner Keelim Ryan.
