BRAND NEW EVENT: Automobili Italia Tralee will celebrate Italian car culture next month – exclusive!

Tralee is set to host a car show and run dedicated entirely to Italian cars and motorcycles.
Automobili Italia Tralee will take place on Friday, September 16 to Saturday, September 17.


The event will kick off with a meet and greet at the FBD and Peever Slye Cotter car parks, Dan Spring Road, Tralee. V92 RW5W on Friday evening from 6pm


It is only open to cars and motorcycles of Italian origin but the organisers say everything from a Fiat Uno to a Lamborghini can enter – or even a Fiat Ducato.


The event is been run to raise funds for the Irish Wheelchair Association and proceedes from the 20EU entry fee will be donated to this worthy cause.


On Saturday cars leave will leave the FBD car park and drive through Tralee town for approximately 15/20 mins.


Then they will head out west over the Conor pass and into Dingle. This will be followed by a run over the famous Slea Head stage before returning to Tralee for a social evening at the Rose Hotel.
“The event is open to anybody with an Italian car or motorbike, from a Fiat to a Ferrari or a Vespa to a Ducati. All are welcome,” said organiser Rory Kerins.


“Hopefully it will be successful and something that’s a positive for our town and that the Irish Wheelchair Association get a decent spin-off from it too.”
