The rain came down but that didn’t spoil the day for Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club who held their Annual Classic and Vintage Car Show which was held on Sunday July 24th for the first time since 2019.
The members of the club left no stone unturned in organising this event and the huge turn out is a credit to their hard work and commitment. After the two year break there was great excitement building ahead of this event which welcomed over 140 vintage cars, jeeps and motorbikes from 1922 to 2002 on show.

Along with these impressive vintage cars, jeeps and motorbikes the newly restored 1982 Toyota Starlet was also on display.

This attracted massive attention & people were very generous in supporting the club’s raffle which is supporting a number of local charities.
Killarney Racecourse was the stage for this event and we are very grateful for the use of their stunning venue.
The club would also like to thank both Navé Coffee House and The Spúnóg Takeaway for their hospitality on the day. They kept people fuelled with delicious coffee and food. There was a great atmosphere in the Racecourse, with car & vintage enthusiasts filling the venue. Kerry supporters were treated to a big screen TV which showed the All Ireland Final between Galway and Kerry. A fantastic result meant the day ended on a high.

The Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club were delighted and very appreciative of the support from the public and the people who carried out their Vintage vehicles which are a credit to the owners who are preserving the great cars of the past into the future. The Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club are looking forward to their next car show on September 11th.
