Three ‘good’ rallies coming up for Breen and Nagle

Paul Nagle and Craig Breen are looking forward to a run of World Rally Championship rallies that have yielded top results in the past.

Following their sixth place on last weekend’s Safari Rally the Kerry/Waterford crew are in fifth place  in the championship standings, just two points off joint third placed drivers Ott Tanak (Hyundai) and Takamoto Katsuto (Toyota).

Their next event is  Rally Estonia on July 14-17 where they have finished second for the last two years. This is followed by Rally Finland which takes place two weeks after Estonia. They finished third on the Jyväskylä-based event last year.

In August they will tackle Ypres Rally Belgium, an event they have won in its pre-WRC days and where they finished second last year.

Breen and Nagle  were part of a five strong M-Sport team in Kenya last weekend but the squad had to rely on SuperRally rules to get all cars to the finish.

“We have a testing programme coming up next ahead of Estonia as well as a short turnaround at  base so we are going to be flat out again, but keeping our heads high and looking forward to Estonia,” said team boss Richard Millenner.
