Co-driver Myers gets late call up for Moonraker
Co-driver Niall Myers has gotten a late call up for the Moonraker Forestry Rally on Saturday.
He will co-drive for Junior 1000 driver Jack Harris from Donegal.
J1000 is a relatively new class in Irish rallying.

The young drivers do not yet hold a Driving License so it is up to the Navigator to handl the non-competitive sections of the event, and it is they who drive the rally on raod sections etc.
As well as logistical support, co-drivers provide a helping hand in understanding stage timing, technical support and guidance on the various rules of the sport.
Each navigator, as a means of offering maximum help, must be reasonably experienced and have completed several events beforehand.
This will be Myers first time co-driving for s junior driver.
“It is going to be a busy and interesting day ahead for me,” he said.
Harris’ great grandmother hailed from Donegal ensuring there is a strong Kerry connection in both sides of the car.
