Evan O’Grady to join brother Emmet in Supersport class
The O’Grady brothers look set to race for TAG Racing before the end of the season.

They are also planning on racing each other in two different classes.
In the Dunlop Irish Superbike Championship, older brother Emmet currently races a Honda CBR1000 Fireblade.
He also competes in the SuperSport class on a Yamaha R6.
Younger brother Evan currently races in the Superbike class but is after selling his Suzuki 1000 GSXR and is close to a deal that will see him race alongside Emmett on a second CBR 1000.
Evan has also acquired a Honda CBR600 and will join his brother in the Supersport class.
However, it will be the July meeting of the Dunlop Masters Irish Superbike championship before the two brothers will go head-to-head in two different classes. Evan is unable to compete in the next meeting on June 24 and 25.
“I got the 600 right at the start of the year but it needed a new engine rebuild, it is an ex-Jack Kennedy bike, it was always the plan to race two classes, but I was say nothing in case it all did not come together, explained Evan.
After six of the 18 races planned for this year Emmet is in fourth place in the Superbike championship standings. His brother is 13th but sat out the last race after selling the Suzuki and not wanting to risk damaging it before handing it over to his new owner.
Emmet has taken two wins in the Supersport class.
