Killarney and District Motor Club made one rally fan’s day by bringing the Rally of the Lakes to him.
In the build-up to the 2022 event, the club became aware of a young man from Coachford, County Cork who was unable to attend the rally stages as he was in Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
Dylan Finnegan is a massive Rally of the Lakes fan and the team worked to make sure he could get a rally experience.
Clerk of the Course Darren McCormick and PRO Ivan Hurley presented Dylan with some very unique gifts connected with the rally including custom printed door panels, driver cards, and an M Sport Ford rally jacket kindly donated by Paul Nagle, rally hats and programmes.
“It may be a small gesture, but the team here in Killarney were delighted to be able to bring the Rally of the Lakes to Dylan,” said McCormick. “We hope to see him in Killarney for the 2023 edition.”
