One man missing from the recent Rally of the Lakes was London-based Mickey Smith.
The chairman of London Irish Motor Club often come homes for the rally.
He often competes in Belgium too and this time around the Belgium rally took priority.

It was his first time driving the ex-Harry Browne Avenger that he recently bought having sold on his previous blue and and white one.
A new co-driver too , Sean Walsh, one of LIMC’s youngest and newest members got his first tase of Belgian rallying. They finished 56th overall.

Micky’s next event in Ireland is Déjà vu Tralee at the end of the month.
